I agree with you they would make a great couple as she's always had his best interests at heart and got emotional when trying to awaken him in this episode.

It's a shame there is only one episode left for this season, it's an interesting story and makes me want to see more. Hopefully, if they get the go ahead for the second season its not to far in the future.

Those no name characters will be saved but the disciple that lost his sword to Fang Han, senior Mo and Liu Kang is dead, in the novel they still had a part to play, providing information to Senior Hua and Yuan about what happened, so they suspect Fang Han is hiding something, which also made them view Fang Han as a threat, but given they are dead, just Fang Han surviving this situation will probably do the same, although Hongyi is never targeted for this, only by association with Fang Han lol

Yeah it was a very big change she doesnt die in the novel, well up to where I read, and that;s like two thirds of the novel already. Even though she isnt a prominent character like Fang Qingxue, she was a close friend of Fang Han, I guess you can say she is like Master or Flanders in Soul Land, it is kind of like the Fairy Crane (who turns into a human form after achieving a certain cultivation level)
If I am guessing what they plan to do, given the changes, they might be merging her character with one of his wives, since he never had feelings for her in the novel, if that is the case, then it should be the sect master's daughter who is the reincarnated soul of the sect master's best superior tiered artifact (she is also the weakest out of the wives, and one that didnt make sense as to how they got together) and yes artifacts gain souls and sentience when they reach a certain level lol
Again it doesnt make sense to invest in an unique character model and then kill her off permanently just to make Fang Han grow up

Kind of, she is supposed to be one of the top 5 core disciples of the sect, she left many years ago to find a way to save her mother, she thought that her father abandoned her and only cares about the artifact, there's still some kind of connection between the artifact and her, so she thinks that her father is using her, she doesnt have a very good opinion about her father lol, but she is very independent, worldly, very bold and stubborn. she can also be caring, kind of like Hongyi

Yeah even though they made changes, it was still following most of the novel, while Dragon's Disciple from what I read on forums, the changes were even greater
If she isnt resurrected or reincarnates in next season I will be dropping the series no one kills off the best girl and gets away with it!! although there's no best waifu in the novel, you just couldnt connect with the wives, they are just there, but you dont feel any attachment for them, much like how we feel about Fang Qingxue at the moment

Even though I enjoy both of them I still prefer this one over dragon's disciple. As for Fang Qingxue, I'm not sure if she felt guilty for what happened which is why she tried to give him a reward fitting for the situation. Now if only he develops a backbone and puts her sister in her place that would be even better. :)

Yeah the changes throws what I read out the window lol in the novel he teases the sister, who was acting like the way she does towards him, and a guy who obviously likes her was trying to impress her by trying to shame Fang Han, but Fang Han told her that she is his, she is betrothed to him by her sister and if any man gets too close to her he will make them regret it, and he told her to call her husband but.... that scene might change a little lol

Maybe, maybe not, it really depends on what direction they are aiming for. They may want to keep her as the hated betrothed future wife due to her attitude just to try and follow the story keeping the fans appeased.

one of the stupidest MCs i have ever seen (well the donghua is good nevertheless), he know that his "friend" is a good for nothing (donno why he still consider him as a friend after all he has done) who might betray him at any moment but he still choose to save him/wake him up.... MC be like: there's still 8 minutes for the episode to end and there's nothing to do let's wake this a$$hole up then

They made some dramatic changes to how Fang Han is, in the novel he is more worldly, more cynical, cautious, greedy and less softhearted, afterall he was a slave before and there is no way he didnt learn from then

He didnt care about those that were poisoned and left them up to their own fate, in fact he was eager to loot all the swords and especially the Golden Yang Rooster rope, which is a top tier artifact, and he wasnt going to save sister Mo (she doesnt die in the novel during this event) or anyone else, just to have them taken back. he didnt care about them being from the sect members either, his impression of them were already bad

He bears a grudge when sister Mo wanted him to return that guy's sword and also he was the one who actually told Hongyi to becareful of Liu Kang (also because of his association of Prince Bao) so he was always wary of him.

I dunno, maybe the donghua is trying to make him look like naive and a nice guy but he isnt like that at all

I like that version much better but I can see why they gave him a makeover so when he does get more experience these bad times, they can show how he's changing mentally either slowly overtime or quickly. Then he'll become what he what he already was in the novel in the donghua (no longer soft hearted, cautious of friend & foe and less trusting, become more cynical, etc...everything he is in the novel).

He became more of that (cynical, cautious etc) when the "good" sects loses and are forced to flee to another country, Han Li and the lower level were forced to "defend" the others while they escape. which was actually for them to be canon fodder by delaying the "evil" sects, he left the Yellow Maple sect and wandered around as a non sect cultivator until he was invited to a sect which gave him the freedom and solitude which he sorely wished without any responsibility to the sect (like taking up disciples and teaching and giving lectures
